Dr. David Banner earned his PhD in Policy and Organizational Behavior from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Banner held tenured faculty positions at:

- University of New Brunswick (Canada) School of Management

From 2003–2007, Dr. Banner served at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin as Director of the values-based MBA program. In this role, he designed and launched the program, recruited students, mentored faculty, established an Advisory Board, and achieved program accreditation.

Dr. Banner dedicated 16 years (2005–2021) as a faculty mentor for PhD students in Leadership and Organizational Change. In this role, he chaired, reviewed, and served on committees for over 80 successfully defended dissertations.
